After closing in March for an estimated 3 weeks, it was many months and lots of work later that we finally re-opened to the public on the 31st October 2025
The ceiling, which was collapsing, has been completely reinforced and replaced thanks to the very generous support of the Regional Council of Goyder
We have a new kitchen/refreshment area, the floors have been sanded and re-sealed, but most importantly for those eager to research history – we now have a dedicated research area. This contains Newspapers, books, magazines, cemetery records and more, all located in a central area with a desk and public access computer. These changes were made possible by a donation from MP Tony Piccolo
Come and visit- new displays, updated displays. Open Friday/Saturday and Sundays from 10am to 2pm. Adults $5- Children under 16yo free
