    For the purpose of this Document:
  • The Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery (EFHG) &  Management Committee will be referred to as “EFHG, us, our or we” depending on the context.
  • We will refer all whom interact with us, Customers, Your Company, Visitors, Friends, Members, Sponsors, Donors, Committee and Volunteers as Customer or Customers as “users, you, yours or customer”.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

EFHG regards customer privacy as an important part of our relationship with our Customers.

The following privacy policy applies to all EFHG  website  and social media users, and conforms to Internet privacy standards.

Collection of Information

As you use the EFHG website, social media, email or letter and other communication we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible.

All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including names, email, addresses and phone numbers, web URL’s and payment details. In order to perform services such as logging in to your account (if you have created one, the EFHG may also require passwords and other access keys.

Any information collected by EFHG is collected via correspondence from you. This may be via the telephone, email, mail, fax or directly through our website or by telephone or in person.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Only upload images if you have the copyright or permission to use the images.

Our Web Hosting Company – A2 Hosting creates logs for access and security which are hosted securely within the hosting companies servers.
Our Website is monitored by Google for Analytics and also security (ReCaptcha)

Our website uses tools developed by Google, such as Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics.

Our website (and some of your details) are also backed up remotely to Google Servers.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All registered users, when logged in, can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
