This is part of the media release put out by the Regional Council of Goyder,
“A storm that passed through Eudunda last week lashed the area with up to 50mm in less than an hour. The storm caused minor flooding in the township and damaged numerous roads. While the clean-up will take some weeks it has highlighted that there is still further work required in Eudunda to help address the ageing and outdated stormwater infrastructure. This is the second event of a similar magnitude in the last 6 months and the fifth time in the last 10 years.”
The Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery Management Committee held thier annual ‘Friends of the Gallery’ Morning Tea Meeting on Wednesday, 9th Feb, 2022, at the Eudunda Hall.
The ‘Friends of the Gallery’ Morning Tea marks the birthday of the founding of the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery, and as has been tradition, the current Eudunda Citizen of the Year, Helen Schiller was asked to cut the cake to mark the occasion.
To a smaller gathering than the previous year, due to a spike in COVID warnings causing some last minute cancellations, Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery Management Committee Chairperson Dot Bonner spoke of challenges and triumphs during the year, and of the exciting things planned for the year ahead by its Volunteers and Committee.
The Morning Tea is also traditionally where friends annual membership is paid, and Dot explained that Membership has remained the same for the last 25 years at $10, but in that time everything has risen in cost the Committee we will be increasing membership slightly next year.
