It has been a very busy time at the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery since they have reopened after the fresh paint job and flooring. The volunteers have been busy every weekend as part of South Australia’s History Festival ‘About Time’ which is on for the whole month of May.
During the 14th to 20th May Australia celebrates Volunteer week. The community of Eudunda wish to recognise the wonderful work that the group of enthusiastic volunteers at the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery do in keeping Eudunda on the map as far as tourism, heritage and history goes. The gallery is a major asset to the district and a major drawcard for tourism here.
The Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery is without doubt one of Eudunda’s jewels – a real treasure. is the least hidden of the ‘valley’s hidden treasures’, but often the work that the volunteers do is much less known to the locals. On the other hand, people far and wide who visit the gallery, do remark on its treasures and the work the volunteers do.
Well done to those who volunteer at the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery in any capacity. As in all volunteer organisations they need more volunteers and welcome young Samuel Doering as a young volunteer.
Young volunteer Samuel Doering has started volunteering at the Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery and has just donated some bottles to the gallery and with some help from Allan Bonsack is looking at identifying them.
