The genealogy of Thomas and Mary Dayman has sparked a fascination amongst many family tree seekers alike. One being Heather Dayman from Western Australia who compiled a paperback edition of Thomas and Mary Dayman’s family tree. This edition was greatly appreciated by the many descendants who took the liberty of purchasing the book.
Even though Heather’s edition was released it was never properly completed due to her failing health. In 2014 I was approached by my daughter in law who said that her grandmother compiled Family history books for families and wonder if we would allow her to do an updated edition of Thomas and Mary Dayman and their descendants.
Thomas and Mary Dayman were born and married in the Birmingham area of England and sailed out to South Australia to begin a new life together. They were accompanied by Thomas’s sister Jane Dayman and her husband Jacob Storer, Mary’s brother who, with their infant son, also came to South Australia
Thomas and Mary’s children having large families made Lorraine’s task of compiling all the data very challenging. I feel this book will indeed be invaluable to the many generations to come.
