The Friends of the Gallery Celebrated the Eudunda Heritage Gallery's Sixth Birthday, the 9th February 2005.
There was a large attendance to celebrate and catch up with friends, showing what a well supported organisation this really is.
Mr. Jim Reese welcomed everyone and was proud to tell them that the Committee and Members had been able to pay for the loan from the
Regional Council of Goyder for the building way ahead of time.
Congratulations to ALL for this great achievement - especially to all those who have been on the committee over the six years that the Gallery
has been going.

The betting tickets that were found behind a skirting board.
Jim was able to show some Betting Tickets found behind a skirting board during a recent renovation. He had done some research into what the value of the bets would have been worth and they would have been a large amount of money on those days. The tickets were bought at the Eudunda Races on Wed. 25th Feb 1925. Jim also looked up the results at that time, and the tickets were not winners. Whomever made the bets had spent approximately the amount needed to pay the Council Rates in the same year, a very significant amount of money to loose. No wonder they hid them behind the skirting boards.
